S*E Goes Release!

Today, Sunday April 24 2005, two months before initial target date, StarExplorer has been released.

New version: now with email!

New to this version:
S*E can automatically send email upon upload - or even part of it.

Another nice feature: offline mode. You don't have to connect upon startup anymore. Prepare your files for upload, setup email notification, hit Ctrl+U - and go do your chores.

New name, old wine (means - even better!)

Due to the legal reasons SE has to change its name and its icon.

I just purchased 10 years of starexplorer.com domain, but in the mean time the old address should work.

Sad news

As of April 2 2005, Smugmug disallowed usage of its brand name/logo in 3d party products.
As a 3d party vendor, I have no other choice but to comply with this request.
The product name and its icon will change soon, so will the URL.
However I will make it my top priority to provide the smoothest possible transition.
I apologize for any inconvenience.
